An attractive coastal castle town, also well known for its uncrowded, sandy beaches and championship golf course. The castle was originally built in 1283 by Edward I. In 1404 it was captured by Owen Glendower who made it his capital for the next 4 years. The higher town, near the castle, boasts some interesting book shops. | ![]() |
